Line & Mortise was founded on a simple belief: furniture should be made well enough to become part of a family's story.

Each piece is designed and built individually in Portland, Oregon, using carefully selected hardwoods, traditional joinery, and construction methods chosen for longevity rather than convenience.

I believe craftsmanship matters most in the places you may never see—the fitted joint beneath a tabletop, the mortise hidden inside a rail, or the structure supporting a bed. Those details determine whether furniture lasts years or generations.
